How to Use a Dish Washing Block

Thinking of trying the zero-waste Dish Washing Block® from No Tox Life? We highly recommend it -- heck, that's why we're supporting it in our shop.

No Tox Life started as a mother and daughter team, and they continue to run as a family business that specializes in natural, toxin-free vegan body care. Their eco-friendly products are great for those looking to go plastic-free and if you have sensitive skin (like myself).

We hope to stock more of their items in the future if our community responds well to these Dish Washing Blocks.

Let's talk How to Use and the Perks of Switching to this Dish Washing Block.

Top 3 Reasons to Make the Switch

  1. Safe ingredients that are friendly for you and the planet.

    Vegan. Phosphate-free. Sulfate-free. Paraben-free. Fragrance-free. Cruelty-free. Septic safe, greywater safe, biodegradable.

  2. Saves on Plastic + $$$
Each dish block can replace up to 3 bottles of the typical plastic squeeze-bottle liquid dish soap. It can last one person who hand-washes all dishes (no dishwasher) up to 3-6 months.

  3. It's Multi-purpose!
This vegan, bubbly badass is a cleaning powerhouse! It conquers, can take out stains, take labels off of jars, spot clean your carpet, use it to wipe down counters, clean the bathtub

How To Use

Scrape dishes to remove excess grease and food. For plates, bowls and cups, wet brush or sponge cloth and rub on Dish Block to create suds. Repeat as needed to refresh suds. Wash items and rinse well. Works in warm or cold water. We prefer warm water for best results. Keep in a dish which will allow it to dry between uses.

We Recommended pairing the Dish Washing Block with our vegan Dish Brush (with Replaceable Head)
